At Ibiana, we strive to address the root causes of inequality and injustice through a diverse range of initiatives including: Black Empowerment Initiative, Poverty Relief Initiative, Advancement of Education Initiative, and Community Economic Development Initiative.

Support Our Mission

Culturally Sensitive Care Packages

Nourishing Communities

Ibiana Foundation provides culturally tailored care packages to Black individuals in homeless shelters, shelters for abused women and children, as well as individuals in need. These packages include items such as black soaps, shea butter lotions, hair creams, hair extensions, and African food staples which cannot be found in regular grocery stores.

Ethnic Food Bank Support

Preversing Food Culture

We source and provide ethnic foods to food banks, to benefit Black individuals and families who rely on food bank services. In the near future, we plan to begin direct distribution of these food items to individuals in need, further enhancing access to culturally significant foods.

Resume Building and Interview Preparation, Mentorship and Career Development

Saving Lives

We offer culturally sensitive workshops and coaching for resume writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation. Providing guidance for those trying to kickstart their life or those transitioning to work in Canada.

Bringing Culture to Live

We provide culturally appropriate professional clothing for job interviews to help black individuals re-enter the workforce with confidence. This initiative helps remove barriers to employment and promotes economic independence.
