Culturally Sensitive Care Packages

Nourishing Communities

Ibiana Foundation provides culturally tailored care packages to individuals in need, including those in homeless shelters, shelters for abused women and children, and other vulnerable communities. These packages are designed to meet the unique cultural and personal needs of the recipients, and may include items such as skincare products, hair care essentials, food staples, and other culturally significant items that are often not readily available in regular grocery stores. Our goal is to provide support that respects and celebrates the diverse backgrounds and identities of those we serve, including Black, Indigenous, immigrant, refugee, and other marginalized groups.

Culturally Inclusive Food Support Initiative

We source and provide culturally significant food items to food banks, ensuring that individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including Black, Indigenous, immigrant, refugee, and other marginalized communities, have access to the foods that reflect their cultural needs. In the near future, we plan to expand this initiative by directly distributing these food items to individuals in need, further enhancing access to culturally relevant food and promoting inclusivity within our food support systems.

Resume Building and Interview Preparation, Mentorship and Career Development

Saving Lives

We offer culturally sensitive workshops and coaching for resume writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation. Providing guidance for those trying to kickstart their life or those transitioning to work in Canada.
